Erin's 1st Year Portraits

We took Erin to get her pictures taken at Portrait Innovations. They did a nice job, but Erin wasn't too smiley this time! She was in a very happy mood but wouldn't smile for anything it seemed! We got a few nice ones out of her though.

Erin loves her new swingset. She tried it out for the first time yesterday. She liked swinging on her swing

and sliding down the slide.

She even tried climbing up the climbing wall!
I think her new playhouse will get a lot of use too! She likes playing peekaboo out the window!

The New Swingset!

Erin got a swingset for her first birthday from Grandma Walker, Grandpa Riesenberg and Great Grandma Fitz Henry. Daddy and Grandpa took all weekend to put it up but we finally got it done yesterday afternoon.

Erin loves playing outside! While Daddy and Grandpa were working on the swingset, Mommy, Erin and the puppies played outside in the sunshine!

Happy Birthday Part 2!

We had the grandparents over for dinner to celebrate (on a smaller scale) Erin's official birthday. We had baked ziti, salad and garlic bread. It was nice enough to play outside and even eat dinner outside! I'm so looking forward to the warmer weather ahead!!

Cuddlebug!

Erin has become a little cuddlebug lately. She hasn't cuddled with Mom or Dad since she was about 3 months old! All of a sudden, she decided to lay with us and give us hugs. It is adorable and we love every minute!

While Mommy and Daddy were napping (and our houseguests were napping), we were all in our bedroom. Erin decided to get into her birthday gifts and unwrap one! She had no interest in opening her gifts at Christmas or yesterday. But left to her own devices, I guess she decided it was time!

Erin had her first birthday party today! She enjoyed the attention she got from our friends and family. She didn't want to miss a single minute so she didn't take a nap for the past two or three days! She wasn't too fussy though and everyone enjoyed themselves.
