Potty Time!

We have started potty training officially! We've been trying/testing/sampling off and on for months now but haven't really been pushing Erin to use the big girl potty. We figure when she is ready, we'll know and we'll start then.

This weekend, she said "Poop" twice and sat herself down on the potty chair and went pee twice!!! We started a "Potty Chart" with stickers for each successful potty attempt. After 10 stickers Erin gets a prize (to be determined at a later date!)

We are so proud of her!! She is growing up way to fast!

Diva in Training

Erin and I have matching aprons.  "Domestic Diva" and "Diva in Training".  So we wear them when we cook and bake together. :) Aren't they FAB?!

New Pirate Pool!

Erin's old pool could no longer hold water for very long so G-pa got her a new pool. This one is pirate themed and very cool!  It has a water cannon and slide.

Weee!!

Erin insists on making her father run around the backyard wagon in tow.  She gets such a huge kick out of it you can't help wanting to oblige your darling daughter!

One keg down...

For those of you that don't know, Ryan got a kegerator (keg fridge) for Father's Day/Our anniversary.  So this was our first keg for the kegerator.  In less than 28 days we drank an entire keg, the two of us, (pretty much), do the math. :)

Girly Girl

Erin found some lipstick...

And she loves to dance and twirl

The Zoo!

Our first trip to the zoo this year!  We purchased the family membership again this year so we plan on going a bunch more times this summer.  Erin really enjoyed the zoo. Maybe even moreso than in past years since I think she understands more about animals and the world around her. She seemed to have a really good time!

The Tiger!

Look A White Tiger!

Mom! Stop taking pictures! Look a Giraffe!

I'm not entirely sure what the giraffe is doing to the ball in this picture...

How best to be transported around the zoo...

Fishies!

Erin could have stayed in the goat pen for hours!

Erin heard the lions roar and ran to find them! That is a really neat sound if you've never heard it before.  They are so loud you can feel the ground shake!

Chick Fil A

We had the opportunity to try out a free Spicy Chicken Sandwich at Chick Fil A.  We made our "reservation" at the local restaurant and we ended up getting a whole meal for free, three brownies for our whole family and we were waited on at a fast food restaurant!  I was very impressed and am telling everyone I know! :)
Erin loved the chicken nuggets and is getting over her fear of the inside, plastic jungle gyms with tunnels and slides.

Dancing to the Music in the Restaurant
Erin gave her lunch "two thumbs up"

MMMM Brownie!

Erin & "KK"

Erin loves her aunts "Sissy and KK".  That is how Erin refers to Allison and Katie.  It is so cute!  She loves to play with them.  They help her play the piano, Foosball and Rock Band. And they have a lot of cool toys at their house that Erin can play with when she comes to visit!

Watching iCarly together!

Bathing Beauty

Over Memorial Day weekend, we spent a few hours "poolside".  Erin loves her pool again this year! She can do the slide all by herself.

Trying to shoot her mother with a squirt gun! (The nerve!)

Ice Cream Truck!

We were finally successful in tracking down the ice cream truck!  She was very busy swimming in the backyard in her pool when she heard the telltale music coming from down the street.  We ran inside and grabbed her money and ran out the front door. We waited at the end of the driveway for the truck to drive by.  Erin picked out a Shrek ice cream bar (they had a WIDE selection of either Shrek or Pink Panther. Must have been a busy day).
