Coloring Easter Eggs

Erin picked out an Easter egg coloring kit last time we went to the store. So this afternoon we set out to color our eggs!  Erin loved dunking the eggs in the different colors!  She wanted to do it again and again.  Mommy didn't want the eggs to be too ugly so we stopped after Round 2!

We went to visit the Easter Bunny! Erin, of course, loved him and had no problem sitting on his lap (no surprise since she also loved Rosie the Red, Chuck E. Cheese and Gapper. However HATED Santa. I'd be afraid of a strange man in a white beard too!)

The Weatherlys came to the Easter Egg Stravaganza at DTSB as well. So the girls posed with the Easter Bunny together. So cute!

Outside SB Chocolate there is a big ape. Erin likes to climb on it and sit on its arm. As you can see, she has mastered the head tilt in pictures!

We visited the Health Works Kids Museum.  What a neat little museum. We'll have to go back when we have more time!

Spring is Almost Here!

With the weather being decent, we've been playing outside more often and it is great to get out of the house!  Erin is "tearing up" the backyard with her Power Wheel and sloppy jalopy. She loves those things!  We aren't going to be able to keep her inside!

It is hard to believe our little girl is two years old today! It seems like just yesterday she was a tiny little thing!

We had a few friends and family over on Saturday to celebrate and had a great time!

Spring Training

While out in Arizona, we went to a Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians spring training baseball game in Goodyear.  Ryan's cousin Scott, his two kids, Payton and Abagail, and our friend Meewes came with us for a day of fun in the sun!  It was a beautiful day!  75 degrees and sunny! It was the perfect end to our week!

Playing Golf/Chasing Birds

We bought Erin a toy golf club set to play with while we were in AZ.  She really liked playing in the backyard but REALLY enjoyed chasing the birds with the clubs.

She really enjoyed helping Great Grandpa feed the birds every afternoon at 4pm.  (While Great Grandma and Mommy had their toddies.)

Cousins!

My cousin Courtney, her husband Jeremy and their son Jeremiah are living in San Diego for the time being. While we were out in Phoenix, the Gerdes family (minus Jeremy) made the 6 hour drive to visit with us! How nice it was seeing the kids play together and to catch up with Courtney.  We hadn't seen each other since my wedding almost three years ago!  Jeremiah is about two months younger then Erin and they had a blast playing together!
