Erin is a little princess these days.  Uncle Pat and Aunt Karen got her a princess dress for Christmas and it is just about her favorite thing to wear!  She found it last night and decided to wear it along with her tiara and princess high heels

Random Funnies

• A few mornings ago, Erin asked for toast for breakfast.  After I handed her the peanut butter toast, she said "No, Mom. Cut it."  So I took it back from her and she insisted on "five". I tried to trick her and cut it in quarters like I usually do.  "No MOM! FIVE!!"  Not sure why she had to have five pieces instead of four but she sure was insistent!
• As we were driving in the car, we were listening to country music.  Rascall Flatts "Life is a Highway" came on.  Erin asked "What's that?"  Then she proceeded with, "Cars! That is Kevin's favorite!"  That song is on the soundtrack to Disney "Cars" and apparently that is her little friend at daycare's favorite movie. I am amazed that she can recognize a song from a movie just by hearing it on the radio!

Lipstick

Erin found a tube of lipstick and decided to try it out.  She actually did a decent job of applying it on herself. She was quite proud! :)

I Love My Snuggie!

I got a Snuggie for Christmas.  It is wonderful!  It keeps me nice and toasty on those drafty days in the office.

Snow Day!

South Bend set records this past weekend for snowfall in 24 hours. We had almost three feet of snow at our house! I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of snow that had accumulated from the time we arrived home Friday night to when we woke up Saturday morning (at about 7am!)  Click here for the story on our local news.  You couldn't keep Erin inside. We got her all bundled up and played outside and shoveled the driveway for the majority of the day.  There was no way we were going ANYWHERE even after we shoveled the driveway.  Our street didn't get plowed until late evening on Saturday.

Movie Tuesday

Erin loves to watch Victorious, a new show on Nickelodeon. If you watch really closely you can see Erin trying really hard to mimic what the girl on TV is doing!
