Painting Her Nails

Erin doesn't bother waiting for Mommy or Grandma to paint her nails. She just does her own...

We Got Hosed

Erin really likes helping with yard work. Picking up sticks, "mowing" the lawn with her mower, watering plants with the hose and her Backyardigans watering can (how appropriate).
Erin ridding the sidewalk of grass clippings (her idea, not mine)

Watering Mommy's Peony Bush

Whoops!

On a side note...look at my peonies!

WEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Erin can do more pull ups than her mother (like that is a surprise to any of you.)

Here she is writing her name all over her clubhouse in case anyone gets confused and thinks it is theirs.  She'll let you know "MINE!"

The Park

We took Erin to Clay Park to play on the jungle gym.  She has a blast and this is her and her daddy's "secret place." Her favorite thing is the roller slide.

Slip n' Slide

G-Pa bought Erin her first Slip N' Slide.  Here she is trying it out for the first time.

She had the most fun watching Daddy show her how it worked!

Bejeweled!

We took Erin to get her ears pierced this weekend!  We've been wrestling with the idea for sometime.  Ryan wanted to get them done at an early age but I fought it because I wanted to be sure it was something she wanted.  Lately, when I put on my earrings in the morning, Erin guestures to her ears and wants to wear some too. I talked it over with Ryan and he thought it would be best to wait until she is older because he thought maybe she'd play with them too much. (Oh how the tables have turned!)  We hadn't made a decision and decided we'd just wait and see.

We went to the mall on Saturday to walk around and window shop. While we were there we just decided to take the plunge.  We asked Erin if she wanted to (three or four times!) and she said "K!"  So we got her ears pierced! She did so well!!!  She only cried for about two minutes and was more scared of the marker than the "guns". Such a big girl!  She doesn't even seem to notice them!  She looks so old now! (At least three! :) )  he he. I still have yet to get a really good shot of them but here is what I have so far.

Getting Pretty!

We found Erin on the kitchen counter the other day.  Usually she scales the counter to get to her Easter candy.  This time, she found something waaaaay more exciting. Mommy's makeup!  She insists on playing with my makeup brushes in the morning when I do my makeup.  She calls it "paint."  SO CUTE!

Taking Kramer for a Ride

Little Miss Chauffeur! Erin insists on having Kramer ride shotgun in her Barbie jeep!  He doesn't seem to mind too much!

And she can't leave Daddy out! Giddy Up Dad!

Another Good Night Sleep!

Mary Mary Quite Contrary,

Mary Mary quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockle shells
And pretty maids all in a row.
I finally get to have my very own vegetable garden!  I planted green beans and peppers in a few containers (I'll also plant zucchini a little later). Erin was a big help with her watering can.  She even planted her own bean plant.  I hope I get some good veggies this summer!  I'm going to try REALLY hard not to kill them. :)

She'll try to feed her fish her unmatched socks.

Painting Fiasco

As I've mentioned before, Erin loves to paint.  She paints pictures any chance she can and has painted close to ten pictures in the span of three or four days.  Ryan was mowing the lawn and I was upstairs. Erin got out her painting things and set to work.  On a new canvas.  Her face and arms.  Luckily watercolors are SUPER washable (you don't even need soap!)
Eating chocolate from the kitchen counter (she can now scale the bar stools to get on the counter to find her Easter candy. Unfortunately she can't find her way down on her own.)

Posing (of course)
