Notre Dame vs Purdue Tailgating

The Boilermakers were in town to take on the Fighting Irish. Quite a few of our friends made it home for the weekend too so we were able to visit with those we hadn't seen in a while.

On Saturday, the Langleys and the Weatherlys came over and we went tailgating. We brought Erin and Peyton along and Niki came in from Indy for the game. Erin was the best little tailgater! No one hardly knew she was there. She enjoyed watching the people and going on a ride in her stroller.

We stopped at our coworker Tom's tailgate and made it to our other coworkers "bus" tailgate. Then we separated and Niki, Erin, Peyton and I headed over to the Kestermeier's tailgate. Phil, Kippy, Dave, and Wrobel were all in town for the weekend. They were all really excited to see Erin!

After the Kestermeiers headed to the game. Erin, Peyton and I headed back to the other tailgate to meet up with the Langleys and the Weatherlys before heading back to my mom's to watch the game.

Erin's Sixth Month Pictures

We took Erin to get her six month pictures taken. We went to Portrait Innovations and were really impressed with the quality of their work and their pricing. Erin was so cute! Unfortunately she just recently found her tongue and all but a few of the pictures have her sticking her tongue out! Here are some of our favorites.

I'm spent!

Erin's First Notre Dame Home Game

As always, Erin, Ryan and I went to my mom's house for the Notre Dame game this weekend. They played Michigan and the weather was awful! It rained for two days before hand and it was humid and wet. It slowed down enough prior to the game that we were able to go tailgate on campus for a few hours.

The Langleys and Erin Repic came as well (stinking Michigan fans!) :) And they enjoyed hanging out, eating and tailgating.

My grandma bought Erin a Notre Dame jumper for the season. Isn't she the cutes thing you ever did see?!?!

Ryan of course sticks out like a sore thumb in his Purdue gear (just wait till next week for the ND/Purdue game!)

Melissa, Erin Repic and I found a co-workers tailgate. Deb is part owner of a giant tailgating bus that is all decked out in Notre Dame stuff and is renovated with couches, a bathroom and kitchen. It is pretty cool.

Erin's First Purdue Football Game

Erin and Daddy watched Purdue take on Northern Colorado. Purdue won! Erin prepared by wearing her Purdue onesie and booties. She looked adorable! She of course was in charge of the remote! She also changed the channel to watch Sponge Bob!

Crystal Lake Day 3

Grandma loved feeding Erin her meals. Erin loved her Great Grandma feeding her!

Erin is already scooting around by rocking back and forth on her knees. And she is obsessed with feet and shoes...I wonder where she gets it from...

Crystal Lake - Day 2

Erin is happy to be at the lake! She loves it outside and in the sun!

Erin loved playing in the sand! She enjoyed running her fingers through the sand and burying her feet!

Erin enjoyed bouncing out on the deck in the sunshine looking out at the water!

Then, when all was said and done, she took a leisurely nap outside in the shade with the wind in her face!

Crystal Lake - Day 1

Crystal Lake

Erin and I went on a road trip up to Crystal Lake, in beautiful Beulah, Michigan, in northern Michigan. My grandparents live on the lake up there and it was about time for a mini-vacation! Ryan wasn't able to make the trip because he had to work.

Ponderosa

We went out to eat at Ponderosa with Ryan's Dad. Erin had her first taste of an all you can eat buffet! She had applesauce and chocolate pudding. Man did she enjoy herself!

MMMMM Chocolate!

Erin loves to eat bananas out of this little mesh bag on a ring made especially for babies. She gets to eat fresh fruit without the risk of choking. We freeze the bananas and it is soothing on her gums when she is teething.
