Ryan found a stray cat at work who was pregnant. His boss was just going to leave her on the side of the road so Ryan brought her home so we could care for her until she had her babies. Well apparently she was more pregnant than we thought and the day he brought her home, she had her babies in his car on the way home!  She had five kittens and Erin was in charge of naming them all. Of course, she named them after her favorite show (iCarly). Sam is the mom cat, there is Gibby, Spencer, Carly. Then Erin got off the iCarly bit and named the other two Tinkerbell and Bucket. She loves checking on them and being a little mother hen. (Next closest thing I suppose to having a little brother or sister.)

Tailgating

For the Notre Dame vs South Florida game, it was HOTTER than ever. We didn't make it too long tailgating (well this part of we.)  Ryan and Erin stayed out longer but we had fun nonetheless. Erin and Layla had a blast playing together this year. Layla followed Erin's lead and did whatver she did. It was adorable.  Terri made all the girls matching dresses.

Jason Aldean Concert

I won tickets a few weeks ago to see Thompson Square, Chris Young and Jason Aldean in concert at the Allegan County Fair.  Amanda and I went up to Allegan, Michigan on Thursday for the show. We had a BLAST!  We were surprised (happily) that they served beer! (Bad@$$ - Kid Rock's beer).  It was an AWESOME concert!!

Erin's First Concert

Last Sunday, we took Erin to the Allegan County Fair to see her first concert, Big Time Rush.  BTR is her favorite TV show on Nickelodeon and is a boy band. Erin has their cd and knows all the words to their songs. She had an absolute blast and enjoyed every minute of it! She sang along to the songs and clapped.  She also learned to "scream" like the big girls and make a "heart" out of her hands.  It was too much fun!

Big Time Rush Concert

Erin, Ryan and I went to the Zoo last weekend.  It was a beautiful, late summer afternoon. Erin insisted that we take her baby and her stroller so she could push him around the zoo. I asked Ryan how long he thought she would push the stroller before getting into it herself.  We made it through the first exhibit before she hopped in with her baby!
