Mother's Day Weekend

Erin and I went up to visit Ryan in CL for Mothers Day weekend. We left after Erin's t-ball game on Saturday afternoon. Daddy took us to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner in the "big city", Big Rapids.

Dancing in the booth!

We went for a nice walk with the puppies to the lake across the street.

Then we went golfing at Ryan's course!

Erin insisted on riding in the back of the golf cart

She also went after her ball by rolling down all the hills

She actually made some pretty decent shots!

She would climb on the trash can to wash her golf ball in the ball washer on every hole!

Silverhawks with Abby & Diana

Diana and I took the girls to the Silverhawks game on Thursday night.  As we were walking in the gates two of the promotion people selected our kids to help with different promotions throughout the night. Abby got selected to start the ball game off by saying "Play Ball" down on the field. Erin was selected to race Swoop (the mascot) around the bases!
Before our scheduled events we went over to the kid section and let the girls work off some energy.

AFter that it was about time to head out onto the field for Abby to start the game!
Swoop!

The National Anthem

We watched some baseball then it was time for Erin to run the bases!

She won and got two free tickets to another Silverhawks game!

We went back to the Kid Zone until the bottom of the 7th.  Then headed home. We had such a good time!

Erin's First T-Ball Game!

Erin had her first t-ball game on Wednesday. She played McDonald Studio. Our whole family was able to come out and watch her t-ball debut! She cried a few times again but seemed to have a good time overall!

Girl's Day

My mom, Erin and I had a girls day on Sunday. We went shopping, got Erin's haircut and got pedicures. It was Erin's first pedicure and she had a blast!

Erin noticed that she was at station #2 and put it together that that was her tball number too!

Opening Day!

We were up bright and early Saturday morning for the Chet Waggoner Opening Day Parade!  The parade started downtown and went about 4 miles to Chet Waggoner ball park.  The procession was probably close to a mile long! Erin had a blast with her teammates in the back of her coach's pickup truck.  I made the kids pennants out of felt and it had thier number on them.  They turned out really cute!

Showing off her "#2!"

All ready to go!

Being Silly!

Erin, Alena, Jesus and Brayden

Unfortunately their game got rained out. The last 1/2 mile of the parade it started raining/sleeting/snowing so we rushed home to get warmed up.

First T-Ball Practice!

Erin had her first t-ball practice on Thursday evening.  She had a few moments where we weren't sure how she would do. Lots of new people was a little overwhelming for her but she quickly got into her groove and really kicked butt!  She is one of four four-year-olds on the team and one of three girls.  She HAD to wear her pink batting helmet and got to bat at least four times. It was adorable seeing her running the bases with her cleats on. We can't wait for the opening day parade and festivities this weekend!

Shopping for her Gear

Trying on her Gear

This is right before she had a meltdown and made me run and get her pink batting helmet from the car. That fixed everything. :)

As you can see, she is super excited!
