Christmas 2011

Our Christmas started on Friday night. We drove to Amanda and Jason's apartment in Elkhart to celebrate with Jason.

While Daddy was on vacation, he took Erin on the train to Chicago to visit the Shedd Aquarium! Her favorite part was getting to pet "Patrick" (the starfish!).

After craft day, we all went back to dad's house to make fattigman (poor man) cookies. Our annual Norwegian cooking baking tradition.  We had a houseful and had a great time with everyone.

Erin took a trip with Daddy, G and Craig to Columbus for the turf convention.  She made it into the newspaper. The Columbus Dispatch published a picture with all four of them!

Mommy, Erin, Daddy and G made a trip down to West Lafayette for a Purdue Basketball Game.  We had fun walking around the campus and showing Erin where Daddy went to school.  She did pretty well at the game and lasted for the first half and the halftime show. She enjoyed watching the cheerleaders!

I took a few vacation days off work last week. Erin and I had lots of good mommy and Erin time.  I asked her what she wanted to do and she said right away "Bowling!"  So off we went to Strikes and Spares in Mishawaka. I thought for sure she wouldn't last more than a game but nope, three games later she was still having fun!
