Mothers Day!

Saturday, Daddy, Erin and I went over to Grandma Riesenberg's house for an early Mother's Day celebration and an early birthday celebration for Grandma. Daddy and I cooked out on the grill and we played lasso golf. Aunt Mary Jane picked out a pair of baby sunglasses for Erin. Perfect timing! We were just talking about getting her a pair! THey are a little big but I'm sure she'll grow into them in no time! It was a very nice time!

On Sunday (Mother's Day), Daddy woke me up early to give me my Mother's Day gift. Erin did a very good job picking out a beautiful necklace that has both of our birthstones in it. We then went to Grandma Walker's house for dinner with Great Grandma Fitz Henry, Great Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Mitch. We had a lot of fun!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Walker!

Erin met Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Walker for the first time. They are in town on their way from Arizona up to Michigan for the summer. We visited them on Thursday (and subsequently got locked out of Grandpa Walker's house) and then on Friday we had a cookout at Grandpa's house. It was very nice to visit with them. We haven't had a chance to see them in quite a few months. Great Grandma didn't want to give Erin up and enjoyed feeding her and cuddling. Great Grandma had to kiss Erin's ears as soon as she could!

Trivia!

Tonight, Erin, Daddy, G-pa and Auntie A went to Beef O'Brady's for trivia night. We had a pretty decent showing before the final question. We were in 5th place before we bid 20 points on the final question. We of course got it wrong but we had fun anyway! Erin helped Daddy deliver the answer sheets to the judge.

Erin's First Wedding Reception

Today, Erin went to her first wedding reception. My friend Kami Weldy (now Brenneman) got married in January in Jamaica and had her at-home reception in Middlebury. My mom, Ryan, Erin and I went to the reception. Erin slept almost the entire time! She looked adorable of course in her little dress.

Naked Baby!

Erin is the exact opposite of her mommy. She is always warm. People probably see us out and about and wonder why on earth I'm dressing her like it is 90 degrees outside. She screams her head off if I put too many clothes on her. When she was first born I would dress her in an extra layer like they tell you to. I would then wonder why she felt so warm. It is only 70 degrees but she is already running around in her diaper! I can only imagine what this summer will be like! Here is a picture of Erin at Great Aunt Rosemary's house. Big Smile!

One Month Old!

Erin is one-month old today! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by! I'll be going back to work in about a month! I bought her a baby gym and she absolutely loves it! She smiled for the first time today. Unfortunatley I couldn't get a picture or a movie of it. She is such a happy baby! You can see below how much she loves her new toy and how happy she is!

Baby's First Picnic

Grandma Walker, Erin and I went on Erin's first picnic at the park today! We went to Leeper Park and sat outside in the gorgeous weather to eat lunch.

Erin's First Walk!

Today we took Erin for her first walk! We walked around the neighborhood. Erin and Peyton both love going for walks. I'm glad we had Erin in the spring so we can enjoy the beautiful weather!

Erin's First Dinner Out

Tonight was Erin's first dinner out! Grandpa Riesenberg took us to Hacienda. I got the "lady-drink" that I'd been craving for 9 months and it was delicious! She was an angel!
