Ryan and I went down to the Weatherley's for a New Year's Eve party at their house. My mom watched Erin for the evening. It was nice to have some adult time with friends and not have to worry about Erin. We did miss her terribly though! We couldn't wait to see her again the next day!

Erin had her 9 month check up today. She is 20lbs 2oz and is 28 inches long! She is growing right on track! With all that she is eating I am surprised she isn't bigger! When we go out to dinner she gets kids meals and eats close to a third of what is given! She likes quesadillas, grilled cheese, macaroni & cheese, scrambled eggs, pancakes, chicken divan, french fries. You name it!
Erin's new favorite snack are "baby" Goldfish crackers. She loves feeding herself crackers, cheerios, anything that she can fit between her thumb and first finger!
Uncle Jerry and Aunt Nancy were in town from Sturgeon Bay, WI, so we went over to my dad and Susan's house for dinner and some visiting. The Stults' were very happy to meet Erin for the first time!
Erin woke up bright and early again this morning. So much for sleeping in a little! :) We went downstairs to see what Santa had brought. We showed Erin that Santa had eaten his cookies and milk and we showed her the stockings full of goodies!
Opening Gifts at Grandpa Riesenbergs
Erin woke up bright and early on Christmas Eve. She wanted to get a head start opening gifts!
We headed to Ryan's mom's house at about 1pm or so to start our Christmas marathon. Ryan's mom, step-dad, Brian, his son, Chris, Ryan's sisters, Amanda and Mary Jane, their boyfriends, Cory and Chris were all there to celebrate.
After dinner, we went to my mom's house. My mom, brother, Mitchell, my grandma, my Aunt Rosemary, cousin Nick were there. They couldn't wait to see Erin and help her open all her presents!
Ryan, Erin and I all got new jammies to wear for Christmas Eve/Christmas morning!

Every year, I have Allison and Katie over to make crafts for family as Christmas gifts. This year, Erin made her first craft as well. I traced her hand to make a wreath out of about 20 of her hands prints. It turned out really cute.
Allison, Katie, Amanda, Mary Jane and Chris all came over to make crafts. We had quite the array of fun gifts to give at the end of the day!

Ryan brought Erin into our office today for a visit! Wearing her new outfit from Diana and Zach!
We went to dinner at K's Grill with Amanda and Ryan's dad. Erin had her first kids meal! She had a grilled cheese and apple sauce. She really enjoyed playing with ice cubes in peoples' drinks!
And playing with people's cell phones!
And making a mess of everything!
