Erin has become a little cuddlebug lately. She hasn't cuddled with Mom or Dad since she was about 3 months old! All of a sudden, she decided to lay with us and give us hugs. It is adorable and we love every minute!

While Mommy and Daddy were napping (and our houseguests were napping), we were all in our bedroom. Erin decided to get into her birthday gifts and unwrap one! She had no interest in opening her gifts at Christmas or yesterday. But left to her own devices, I guess she decided it was time!

Erin's Birthday Party

Erin had her first birthday party today! She enjoyed the attention she got from our friends and family. She didn't want to miss a single minute so she didn't take a nap for the past two or three days! She wasn't too fussy though and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Mommy and Daddy got Erin a "sloppy jalopy" for her birthday. She enjoyed cruising around the backyard in her new ride!

We had lots of friends come from far and wide (Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan and Ohio) to celebrate Erin's birthday with us. We are so happy they were able to share this special occassion with us!! Thank you all for coming!

St Patrick's Day Brunch

Erin and I went to the third annual St Patrick's Day Brunch at Erin's house this morning. Daddy had house guests so it was just Mommy and Erin. The Langleys, the Weatherlys, the Loves, the Davidsons, Jocelyn and Erin were all there for a delicious, Irish inspired brunch. Erin loved all the food and played with Colin, Blane, Jaden, Noah and Travis.
