Erin had her first doctor's appointment today. She gained 1lb 6oz in a week! She is now 7lbs 11oz. (She lost 1lb at the hospital.) She also grew an inch and a half. I guess she is eating well!

Today is Erin's first Easter! We got her an Easter basket to celebrate. We stayed home and had a few family members stop by to meet her. Uncle Pat and Aunt Karen came by and thought she was perfect. Uncle Pat asked me what sports she will play. I told him "cheerleading"!
"Uncle" Phil and "Uncle" Goob were in town this weekend and came over to meet Erin. Goob was much more comfortable with the baby then Phil! Kristin and Lisa also came by to meet Erin.
We gave Erin her first bath tonight. It was a sponge bath since her umbilical cord hasn't fallen off yet. She loved every minute of it. Hopefully she'll like real baths too!
Daddy, Erin and I came home from the hospital today! How nice it is to finally be home. Mommy and baby are doing well and are ready for some rest!
I was in labor for 22 hours before the doctors decided to go ahead and give me a c-section because I wasn't progressing. It turned out to be a good decision because little Erin had her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and legs. Daddy changed her first diaper!
