Bowling

Last weekend, Ryan and I went bowling with Matt and Kristin.  As we were leaving Erin with G for the evening, Erin started crying.  Normally she could care less if we leave her home with family for the evening. We asked her what was wrong. She said "I want to go bowling too!!"  So Ryan told her that if she stayed home with G that night that we would take her bowling next weekend.  So on Sunday after fishing we all went to Strikes and Spares for a game of bowling.  Erin beat us both! She could actually carry the ball up to the lane and throw it down herself!  It bounced back and forth on the bumpers but I was pretty impressed!

Gone Fishin'!

Ryan, Erin and I went fishing on Sunday with G, A and Quarter. We went to Ferretie Baugo Creek County Park.  I hadn't been fishing in years. We stopped at Meijer on the way and bought our fishing licenses and a couple of poles (mine is pink! :) ) Erin has a Barbie fishing pole. I refused to touch the worms, fish, algae or sticks (I didn't catch any fish but I caught a few sticks and algae and didn't want to take them off myself. ICK!)  But it was a nice day and I think we all had fun!  Jason even caught two fish!

I can't believe there is only one week of tumbling class left! Erin has had so much fun learning new things and practicing the moves at home.  Her favorites are the donkey kicks and "walking" up the wall (hand stands pretty much).

Easter Egg Hunts!

Erin had THREE Easter Egg hunts this past weekend! One at Newton Park in Lakeville (12,000 eggs!), one at the Cove before a baseball game with G and one at Grandma's house on Easter.  She cleaned up and had a good time "searching" for the eggs.

Then we stayed for a few innings of the baseball game!  Had a couple of hot dogs and a couple of beers. Great start to the spring season!

Bird Feeder

A while back I posted about Erin's finished craft, the bird feeder.  She had SO much fun doing this project.  We had it on the kitchen table for about a week. Every chance she would get she would sit at the table and glue more buttons on it. She had a blast!  Her new favorite thing is to do crafts!  A girl after her momma's heart! ;)  I'm so proud!

Jason's 21st Birthday

Jason's 21st birthday was on April 6th. Ryan, Amanda, Matt and I took him out on April 8th to celebrate.  We spent most of the evening at Corby's but made an appearance at Backer for some dancing. :)
