New Years with Phil and Kip!

Ryan and I hung out with Phil and Kip in Indy (and Lafayette) for New Years Eve and New Years Day.  It was fantastic but we missed our little Erin terribly!  But she got to have fun with G-pa and Grandma.

We drove down to Indy on New Years Eve morning and hung around playing Super Mario Brothers on Wii (AWESOME game!)  Then we made some fun cocktails (caramel apple cocktails to be exact) which were delicious.  We went out for a bit to a bar with a very wide selection of beers.  I was special and ordered a Coors Light (Mom would be so proud!).  Everyone else ordered appropriately named specialty beers:
Phil: Arrogant Bastard (not really but it fits the theme)
Kip: Molson Canadian (She is half Canadian!)
Ryan: Loose Cannon (so perfect. :) )

We rung in the New Year back at their place and called it a night.

We made the hour and a half drive to Lafayette on New Years Day so the boys could go watch the Purdue/West Virginia game.  They are two of the top 6 teams in the country in basketball and they were going to try to get tickets.  They weren't able to get tickets so we just watched the game at Scotty's.  We made a pit stop at Harry's on the way back to the car.  Had a great time!
